Must I have the CMC®designation to be a member?
No, whether you have the designation – or – are currently pursuing or are interested in pursuing the designation, we welcome you to our Institute.
What types of companies or firms currently belong to ICMC?
Members currently come from a wide range of companies. We have sole proprietors who are members, consultants from small-medium enterprises, as well as consultants from large firms.
In what business are typical members involved?
Again, our membership base covers a wide range of areas. We currently have consultants working in several service areas, serving clients in many different industries. The most common service areas are: strategic and business planning; organizational development; project management; feasibility studies; and general management and information technology/e-business management. Our members consult to almost every industry imaginable including government, banking and financial services, health care, manufacturing, professional services, small/family business and technology.
How can I be a member when I don't have three years consulting experience?
There is no minimum experience requirement for ICMC Philippines membership. Three years management consultancy experience is needed to complete your CMC®designation, which can be gained while pursuing other components of the CMC®designation program.

What documents do I need to submit as proof of having an undergraduate degree?
Official sealed transcripts from the degree granting institution will be forwarded directly from the academic institution to ICMC Philippines.
The internationally recognized measurement of "Management Consulting Experience" is stated as 1200 hours for three years, including the last 12 months "In the Business of Management Consulting".
One of your sponsors will be required to sign a declaration attesting to your experience prior to being admitted as a CMC®.
As further proof of consulting experience, candidates will submit summaries of management consulting assignments in which they have played a major role. These too will be signed off by one of the candidate's sponsors. The Association can provide details of this submission.
